A heated confrontation ensued this afternoon between Anti Martial Law rallyists and Duterte supporters in the Luneta Grandstand.

Protesters and Duterte critics trooped to the Luneta Grandstand today to commemorate the 46th anniversary of Martial Law. In a video posted by ABS-CBN News on their Twitter account, a really tense encounter can be seen brewing between Duterte fans and obviously yellow anti Martial Law rallyists. Sparks will surely happen and you can see both parties shouting invectives towards each other. No one is willing to give an inch.
To some people, Martial Law was a time when endless atrocities were done to thousands of Filipino People. Anti Martial Law supporters claimed that there were around 70,000 people arrested during the time for speaking against Marcos. They claimed that the freedom of speech was curtailed during the Martial Law.
